Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the Scopa Saga mobile game ("Scopa Saga", "we", "us") collects, why, and the choices you have. Scopa Saga is free to play and supported by advertising.
Information we collect
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| An anonymous player ID. Created automatically the first time you play. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number. | To save your progress, verify your scores and place you in a weekly league. |
| Gameplay data: levels played, scores, moves in a finished level, boosters used, rewards claimed, and when you play. | To run the game, check scores are fair, run leagues, and balance level difficulty. |
| A display name and city, only if you choose to set them. | Shown to other players on league leaderboards. |
| Device and app information: device model, operating system and app version. | To fix bugs and keep the game working on your device. |
| Advertising data collected by Google AdMob, which shows the ads in the game. This can include your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), IP address, and how you interact with ads. | To show ads, measure them, prevent fraud, and, with your permission, make ads more relevant to you. |
Advertising and tracking
On iPhone, the game asks for your permission before your device's advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you choose "Ask App Not to Track", you will still see ads, but they won't be personalized using that identifier. You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalized advertising, using Google's consent tools. You can review your choice from the game's settings.
Google's use of advertising data is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Who we share information with
- Supabase, which hosts our game servers and stores your player ID, progress and league data.
- Google AdMob and its advertising partners, which serve and measure ads.
- Apple, for app distribution and, if you opt in, crash and usage reports.
We don't sell your personal information for money. Some laws treat sharing data for personalized advertising as a "sale" or "sharing"; you can opt out by declining tracking and personalized ads as described above.
How long we keep it
We keep your player data while you play. Gameplay analytics are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted or anonymized. When you delete your data (below), we remove your player account, progress, league entries and analytics tied to you.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your data: in the game, open Settings → Delete my data. This permanently removes your account and progress from our servers.
- Access or correct: email us and we'll help.
- Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to use them. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Scopa Saga is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for important changes we'll let you know in the game.
